I run a business

You already know the number. This is about what is causing it.

For founders and owners, sole traders, executive teams and boards. The work begins with the people making the decisions, then the business goes back under the light, because a business does not underperform on its own.

Sole traders and group boards come through the same door. That is deliberate.

The thinking does not change with the size of the business. The scope does.

Which one is you
01

You are the business

There is nobody to hand it to. Every decision routes back through you, the good ones and the ones you have been avoiding, and the business is capped by your attention rather than by its market. You built it that way for reasons that were sound at the time.

Doing everything yourself stopped being hustle a while ago. It is now the constraint.

02

You have a team, and it has stopped serving you

What worked at ten people is quietly breaking at fifty, or five hundred. Decisions route through people who no longer hold the context, everything takes a week longer than it should, and nobody can point to where it slowed down.

It reads as a people problem, so it usually gets treated as one, with a hire. It is a design problem.

Same door, same thinking. Only the scope changes.

Five ways to work

The weekly hour you can start on Monday. Everything below it begins with the week inside, because a decision made without a diagnosis is a guess.

The Weekly Unpack

One hour, every weekFour-week minimumFrom $1,999

The same hour, the same day, every week. It is the only thing on this page you can start on Monday without a diagnosis first, because most owners already know roughly where the core issue sits. What they do not have is one hour a week where nobody wants anything from them.

You bring whatever is live that week. The decision you keep deferring, the person you know you need to move, the number that will not shift, the conversation you have been rehearsing for a month. We work it there and then.

Booked in blocks of four weeks minimum, and renewed only while it is still doing its job. No documents, no homework, nothing to prepare. Just the hour, held for you.

This is what most people are actually buying. It is also the fastest thing here to stop, which is deliberate.

You end each week with one thing decided and the next thing named.

The Week Inside

One weekInside the businessAt pace

Mark audits performance and the operating structure underneath it. Products and services against revenue, brand positioning and route to market, org design and where decisions are actually taken, the commercial model and its margin, the systems carrying the work, and the compliance exposure behind it.

And the leadership making the calls. Where decisions are being driven by habit, protection or an identity the business has outgrown, that is a finding, and it goes in the report alongside the numbers.

Most owners can already see the result. This is the week that identifies what is causing it. You do not need three months of consultants to locate the cause. You need someone who has already operated at the level where it was created.

Many businesses take the report and run it themselves. That is a complete outcome, not a failed sale.

You end the week with the diagnosis, the priorities in sequence, and a course of action you can execute immediately.

The Strategy Day

One dayOne roomOne decision taken

For founders, boards and leadership teams who do not need further analysis. The call made, the reasoning set out plainly, the trade-offs named, and the next stage defined clearly enough to execute the following morning.

It works because the day is built around your decision rather than a framework. Nothing is presented that was written before Mark understood the business.

You end the day with the decision, the trade-offs accepted, and what has deliberately been ruled out.

Side by Side

Defined scopeAgreed before it startsUntil the return shows

Where the decision needs building rather than advising. Mark works alongside the business until the change has landed, in a role agreed before anything begins, and stays in the room for the decisions that carry weight.

Restructure where complexity has outgrown the operating model. Repositioning where the market moved and the offer did not. Commercial architecture and partnerships where margin has eroded. AI systems where a constraint the business was built around no longer exists.

You end with the change delivered, the return visible, and a business that can carry it without him.

The Seat

OngoingA day or two a weekFractional COO or CEO

Where the business needs the work done rather than advised upon, Mark takes an operating seat for a defined period and implements it himself. Accountable for the result, not for the recommendation.

This is the closest thing here to hiring an executive, without carrying an executive salary or waiting six months for a search to conclude. A day or two of every week are already committed, so availability is genuinely limited rather than positioned that way.

You end with the function built, the team able to run it, and a handover that was planned from the first week.
